Java programming technology has become one of the mot popular programming languages and platforms in the IT world. Known for its flexibility, Java readily harnesses the power of the network because it is both a programming language and a selection of specialized technology platforms.
SCJP certification, or Sun Certified Java Programmer, is a step further than that. Sun Microsystems actually says on their website that getting certification isn't necessarily worth it if you use basic Java on the job already. According to Sun, the exam and the training necessary may be just too rigorous.
